"Hands down, my favorite vacation spot is the island of Puerto Rico! Not only are the people as noble and hospitable as they come, the food is out-of-this-world delicious. Full of culture, natural beauty, and passport-free, it's truly a spot to vacation in paradise. Here's my favorite way to start our day of exploring in Puerto Rico: a cream cheese filled puff pastry called Quesito."

Nicole Nared-Washington is the creator of Brown Sugar Food Blog, a site where you can get easy, delicious recipes that use common and affordable ingredients. She is also the author of Baby Proof: Mocktails for the Mom-to-Be. When we asked Nicole about about her favorite vacation spot, she replied:

"One of my favorite vacation spots is Riviera Maya, Mexico. What I remember most about visiting this location a few times are the street tacos that I would always get when I would go to the local areas for shopping. This taco that I made may not come close to a real authentic fish taco, but it definitely reminds me of Mexico when I bite into one for sure."
