This week we've created a tasty taco snack that can be served all year long! Below we share a new way to prepare a crunchy treat with nutritious veggies.
Green Pea Crunchy Tacos
1 red bell pepper
Juice from 1/2 lime
1/2 small bunch of green onion
Small handful fresh cilantro
1/2 bag of defrosted frozen peas
8 hard taco shells
Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper
Steps for Rad-Kids:
1. Slice bell pepper with either scissors or plastic knives into thin strips.
2. Smash avocados and add lime juice to prevent browning. Salt and pepper to taste.
3. Chop green onions and cilantro with scissors.
4. Assemble taco by spreading avocado on the shell, and filling it with peas, peppers, herbs, and cheese. TASTE & SHARE!
