Gluten-Free

Chocolate Soufflé Cake >> Use gluten-free flour.

 

 Egg Allergy

Chocolate Soufflé Cake >> Instead off egg whites, beat 1 cup of aquafaba (the liquid from a can of chickpeas).  Instead of yolks, ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons of VeganEgg with 2 ½ cups of water.

Crispy Chicken Tenders >> For the egg mixture, mix 2 tablespoons of Follow Your Heart’s VeganEgg and ½ cup of water.

Scientific Chef’s Salad >> Use dairy-free mayonnaise, such as Vegennaise. Either omit the eggs, or use beets in their place.

 

  Dairy Allergy

Chocolate Soufflé Cake >> Use dairy-free butter and ice cream.

Crispy Chicken Tenders >> Use dairy-free milk, such almond or soy.

 

 Vegetarian

Crispy Chicken Tenders >> Instead of chicken, slice a package of tempeh into sticks of desired thickness.

 

 Vegan

Chocolate Soufflé Cake >> Instead off egg whites, beat 1 cup of aquafaba (the liquid from a can of chickpeas).  Instead of yolks, ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons of VeganEgg with 2 ½ cups of water.  Use dairy-free butter, such as Earth Balance.

Crispy Chicken Tenders >> Use dairy-free milk, such almond or soy.  For the egg mixture, mix 2 tablespoons of Follow Your Heart’s VeganEgg and ½ cup of water. Instead of chicken, slice a package of tempeh into sticks of desired thickness.

Scientific Chef’s Salad >> Use dairy-free mayonnaise, such as Vegennaise.  Use a dairy-free cheddar cheese, such as Daiya.  Instead of bacon, use a veggie bacon such as Lightlife Smart Bacon or Fakin’ Bacon, or meatless bacon bits, such as McCormick Bac’n Pieces, Betty Crocker Baco-O’s Bits, or Cool Foods Veggie Bacon Bits & Dips. Either omit the eggs, or use beets in their place.
