Dietary Substitutions for Monster Mayhem

Gluten-Free
Monster Mash Meatloaves >> Use gluten-free breadcrumbs, or make your own using gluten-free bread.
Broccoli Swamp Fritters >> Use gluten-free flour.
5-Eyed Breakfast Bake >> Serve with gluten-free toast.
 
Dairy Allergy
Monster Mash Meatloaves >> Use a dairy-free butter, such as Earth Balance. Use a dairy-free milk, such as soy or almond.
Broccoli Swamp Fritters >> Use a dairy-free grated Parmesan cheese, such as Go Veggie! Foods.
5-Eyed Breakfast Bake >> Omit the cheese, or use a dairy-free cheese, such as Kite Hill’s Ricotta.
 
Egg Allergy
Monster Mash Meatloaves >> Use the equivalent of two flax eggs instead of regular eggs: Mix 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal with 5 tablespoons of water. Let rest 5 minutes to thicken.
Broccoli Swamp Fritters >> Use a flax egg instead of a regular egg: Mix 1 tablespoons of flaxseed meal with 2.5 tablespoons of water. Let rest 5 minutes to thicken.

Vegetarian

Use a dairy-free butter, such as Earth Balance, and a dairy-free milk, such as soy or almond. In place of eggs, use 2 flax eggs: Mix 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal with 5 tablespoons of water. Let rest 5 minutes to thicken. Make sure the Worcestershire sauce you use is vegan.
