Camp Raddish FAQs

Here are a few answers to the most frequently asked questions!

  • Our camps are fully hands-on culinary experiences with maximum class size of 20 chefs and a culinary coach to kid-chef ratio averaging 1:5.
  • Camps are taught by Camp Raddish culinary coaches – professionally trained chefs and classroom educators.
  • Our camps are full-day programs that run from 9am - 3pm and open to children entering the 3rd - 8th grades.
  • If you have an older child who is interested in joining us, that's fantastic!  Check out our CIT ProgramPlease note: We have room for two CITs per session.
  • Each session includes all the fresh ingredients, recipe book, and a Camp Raddish apron.
  • Campers make and eat their lunch during camp each day. Please pack a water bottle and snack, if desired.
  • Campers must wear closed-toe shoes (safety first!) and hair must be tied back while preparing food.
  • Please be aware that we do not have before or after care available for campers.  Plan to drop-off no earlier than 5 minutes before camp start time and pick-up no later than 5 minutes after the conclusion of camp.
  • If your child attended Restaurant Camp in the past and you have questions about which session to attend this summer, please note both Menu A and Menu B will feature different recipes than those found in our 2017 programs.  This should give you the freedom to register for the session that works best for your schedule!
  • Though we do not cook with nuts, we can’t guarantee that the facility is 100% nut-free. We are generally able to accommodate campers with common allergies and dietary restrictions. Please contact us with specific questions or concerns.
  • We believe the kitchen classroom is the tastiest place for everyone to learn, and are committed to making this possible for deserving students this summer.  2018 Camp Raddish Scholarship Applications are available here.  Please complete by May 1, 2018.  Recipients will be notified by May 15.
