Taste Bud Challenge Lesson Plan

Substitutions

At Raddish, we strive to accommodate the needs of all families. Below please find some recommended substitutes for our Rad-Families with dietary restrictions. Measurements may vary based on substitute.

Gluten-Free 

Roasted Tomato Soup with Umami Croutons >> use gluten-free bread (in place of a baguette)

Tart and Tangy Chicken Piccata >> use gluten-free flour (in place of all-purpose flour)

Salted Brownie Crisps >> use gluten-free flour (in place of all-purpose flour)

Dairy Allergy

Roasted Tomato Soup with Umami Croutons >> use non-dairy cheese, such as Parma (in place of Parmesan cheese), use firm, pureed tofu (in place of heavy cream)

Tart and Tangy Chicken Piccata >> use coconut oil or Earth Balance (in place of butter)

Salted Brownie Crisps >> use gluten-free flour (in place of all-purpose flour), use coconut oil or Earth Balance (in place of butter), use ENER-G egg replacer (in place of eggs)
