Season's Eatings Lesson Plan

At Raddish, we believe the kitchen is the tastiest place to learn!  And Raddish is a terrific supplement to your homeschool curriculum. Subscribe to Raddish for a FREE lesson plan each month (via our Shopping List email).  Each lesson plan divides your kit into 4, 45-90 minute lessons you can use and adapt to support your homeschool study, pre-k – middle school.

Substitutions

At Raddish, we strive to accommodate the needs of all families. Below please find some recommended substitutes for our Rad-Families with dietary restrictions. Measurements may vary based on substitute.

Gluten-Free 

Party Toasts >> use gluten-free crackers or gluten-free melba toast (in place of baguette)

Sprinkle Cookies >> use gluten-free flour (in place of all-purpose flour)

 Vegetarian 

Chilly Night Chili >> add 2 diced zucchini, one diced red pepper and one diced green pepper OR vegetarian burger crumbles (in place of ground beef)

Sprinkle Cookies >> use ENER-G egg replacer (in place of eggs)

 Dairy Allergy

Party Toasts >> use Daiya cream cheese (in place of ricotta cheese)

Sprinkle Cookies >> use Earth Balance OR 1 Tbsp Flax + 3 Tbsp hot water (in place of butter), use soy milk (in place of cow's milk)
