RadSnack Recipes: 1-2-3 Hummus

Snack time is the perfect time to cook with your kid!  Our RadSnack recipes are a great way to start tasting and sharing together.  In a few short days we will ship our Kitchen Olympics themed cooking box!  Today’s recipe pairs perfectly with this month’s Ancient Greek Turkey burger recipe.  It also makes a great everyday snack with pita chips or cucumber slices.

1-2-3 Hummus

Ingredients

- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste

Tools: Can opener, measuring spoons, food processor or blender, spatula

Steps

1. Drain chickpeas, reserve 2 Tbsp of the liquid.
2. Add chickpeas, chickpea liquid, salt and oil to food processor or blender.
3. Blend until smooth.
